I've set up a youtube channel - mainly to play and experiment with.
[side note - I did stumble across this guy. Simply amazing and very emotional playing. I enjoyed it so much, I'm gonna try the piccolo thing on my warwick. I need to find strings and then look for piccolo instruction sites.]
I found some old videos of CheapDate that I am working on (editing) with the idea of posting them on the new channel. They are live recordings made with a consumer video camera and a Flip camera. Neither have the best mics for recording loud music. On some of them the bass is non-existent. I'll see what I can salvage. What did surprise me was, on a few of the videos, the sound I got out of the Warmoth - it was very good. Thick, warm, complex tone with a bit of scoop. It's going to be weird if, after I play with various builder's basses, I find my Warmoth sounds as good or close.
I hope to get some videos posted this weekend.
