Before TheOC3 was an idea, Angela Marie and I, with the help of Dave McCue on guitar, played out as a trio. This video was shot before Angela Marie retired from her 27 years as a Los Angeles Sheriff. As I remember it, this was at a law enforcement Christmas party. My Warwick Thumb sounding as good as I remember it....I miss playing that bass...the neck on the bass was the best neck I've ever felt.
Dom, Jeffery, Ellen, and I recorded a version of Tom Petty's Angel Dream (No.2) using the acapella app. My adventures with having a custom bass built are winding down. Devon of Devon basses sent the in-progress images of my bass. 
My first bass was stolen during shipment. Devon was nice enough to place me in the front of his queue for the replacement bass.  Bass number one - #1915 Devon gave me a March/April ETA. My plan is to make my Devon bass my number one bass and move the Warmoth Jazz to back-up duties.
 NYE in Tustin at the Black Marlin was a great way to close out 2019. Great food, lively crowd, and the band (TheOC3) was hopping. Looking forward to an even busier 2020. And my new bass should be in my hands in March. Its been a long time coming...   Well, sad news I'm afraid. My Devon bass was stolen from FedEx while en-route to the local FedEx office. They won't release details but from the sound of it, it was an inside job. Not trying to throw FedEx under the bus but losing a large, eight pound box should be on the list of things that don't happen to a shipping company. Devon, being the honest and sincere person he is, offered - and is - building me a new bass. He had it insured so he will be reimbursed.  Lots of new material coming in the next few months. DigDeeper will release a studio album and I'll review a few new bass purchases.
