A little busy the past week. I'm assisting a friend with a bass purchase for their son - I'm doing the leg work and research finding a decent bass for a good price. This has lead me to remember my experience when I went to the local music shop and bought my first bass amp. A sheep walking up to a pack of wolves and asking where's a good place to eat is what I remember feeling as I walked in. I had no clue what I was doing. What makes a good bass amp? Are more speakers better? How many watts is enough? Does it need wheels? Why is it so big? What is a combo? What the hell is an ohm and why do I care?
I have also been going over some photos and video of the band's latest gig. If I see any bass worthy, I'll post them.
Also, I've heard there is some kind of article being written about the band for a local paper. Not sure of the details but I will post them when I get them.
I've also sent inquiries to a few bass players on NS Designs basses. Waiting on their response.
